Myths of Gods and Heroes
Here are myths of the most important events in Greek mythology such as the Genesis, the Wars and the Ages. It may also include some of the less known myths and tales of the people from the ancient times.
Genesis - Creation of The World
According to Hesiod's Theogony, the first Greek gods, also known as the Titans, were born from the union of primeval deities known as Gaea (Earth) and Uranus (Heaven). But at the beginning there was only Chaos as a primeval state of existence. It was dark, silent, stationary and without any trace of life to infinity.
Gigantomachy - the War of the Giants
Gigantomachy was a war between Giants and Olympian Gods for power and control of the cosmos. Led by Porphyrion and Alcyoneus and fuelled by Gaea's anger and vengeance, the giants rebelled against Olympians.
Five Ages of Man (by Hesiod)
The story can be found in Hesiod's Works and Days It talks about five ages where people behaved differently towards gods, nature and themselves, going from complete harmony towards division and mistrust.

The story can be found in Ovid's Metamorphoses It talks about four ages where people behaved differently towards gods, nature and themselves, going from complete harmony towards division and mistrust.
